Awstats issue

Hi, im having a awstats issue when you go to it in cpanel, i am seeing the error i have attached
had to take a screen shot due to the error redirecting in the browser to

SSL received a record with an incorrect Message Authentication Code.

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_mac_read)

Please see the error attached, im a little baffled as to why its doing this but im sure someone will know

I'm sorry, I looked at your attachment and saw perl5/5.6.2/ in the message and assumed you might need to update perl.

That command I linked you to should help I believe, if thats the issue.

Sorted it, it was the permission of /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/awstats.pl It should be set as 755 it was only set as 655

Note to self, check google 1st...

Thank you for posting this solution! We set up two identical servers on the same hardware with the same cpanel build and one of them had the correct permissions for awstats.pl and one didn't. I don't know what caused that but I'm glad there was an easy fix.
