I know in WHM you can select to save logs for a month , but this will put a load on the server it states, this is under tweak settings. I do not have it selected at this time

User has informed me that every day his stats are being over written is this correct when the box is not checked in WHM, if not what could be the problem?

If so then is it possible to just have it keep a backup for a cerating user for a month and not the entire bank of users?

Would it be possible to instead of keeping data for a month to keep data for a week before it rolls over?

Any Ideas on these questions???

I suspect that the setting you are after is

Delete each domain's access logs after stats run

If you turn this off the domain logs will stay in place until you manually remove them. If the sites on your server generate large logs you may end up creating a bit of work for yourself.

What we are looking for is someway maybe a script or a addon to a config file that would enable us to accomplish 2 things.

First to be able to set a time limit other than 1 month to delete files maybe something like logging for 7 days and on the 7th day it falls off and picks up a new day that way u always would have 6 days of data added to the new day every week.

Second have this setup where you coudl select which domains would have this feature and which woudl not.

Thx
