Hi All,

I am currently backing up (incremental) to a D.O. volume and the "workspace" is /backup
My issue is /backup is taking a LOT of my limited disk space
Can anyone see any issues with changing the work directory(s) from /backup to the D.O. volume?
And... will I be able to restore from that D.O. volume?

Example: Current:
Default Backup Directory: /backup
Backup Staging Directory: /backup

change to:
Default Backup Directory: /mnt/volume_nyc3_04/backup
Backup Staging Directory: /mnt/volume_nyc3_04/backup

Final back destination is /mnt/volume_nyc3_04

Thanks!

Steve

Hey - good news - since it is mounted as a standard drive everything seems to be running great.

Follow up question on retention... Can i use just daily backups with a retention of say 5. That would give me 7x5 retained (incremental) backups to restore from - correct?

Thanks!
