How to set day for Monthly/Weekly backups?

Is it possible to set a day for the monthly and weekly backups?
For example only at the Friday for weekly and the last Friday of the month for the monthly ones.

At the moment it only works if you tick the option in backup config, but then it takes the day you enabled this, same for weekly.. so if you activate this weekly backups on a wednesday it runs only on a wednesday and not on the day i want it to happen..

Is this information stored in a file?
