Hello,

I've setup Monthly/Weekly/Daily backups , which always run.
The strange problem is that Weekly backups run in the middle of the week and Monthly in the middle of the month.

for example today 24/10/2012:

# ls -lah /backup/cpbackup/
total 20K
drwx--x--x 5 root root 4.0K Sep 27 2011 ./
drwx--x--x 3 root root 4.0K Oct 14 2010 ../
drwx--x--x 4 root root 4.0K Oct 24 09:42 daily/
drwx--x--x 4 root root 4.0K Oct 17 01:00 monthly/
drwx--x--x 4 root root 4.0K Oct 24 09:42 weekly/

Shouldn't monthly backups run like the last day of the month ?
and weekly at the last day of the week ?
or maybe even friday/saturday/sunday and not in the middle of the week ?

Infopro thank you for your reply.
IIRC, this has come up before. If you go into your backup settings and click save, in the middle of the week, that's when it runs. Someone else may be able to clarify this for you hopefully.
It is still confusing for me,
If I go to the backup settings right now and click save, (today the day is Wednesday 24th ),
does that means that:
-the Monthly backup with run every month at 24th ?
-the weekly backups will run every Wednesday ?

So if I want to run the monthly backup at the end of the month, and the weekly at the end of each week I have to go to backup settings and press save exactly at 27th of October for example ? (27th is Saturday which is nice for weekly backup and 27th isn't the end of the month but it's pretty close).
is this correct?
