I have my backup configuration set to remote storage on Backblaze. My backups are being stored there. I have Retain Backups in the Default Backup Directory unchecked so that all backups are sent to remote storage. WHM still stores weekly and monthly backups in the /backup directory. I'm sure it's a bug. I was investigating why I was using so much disk space and found the weekly and monthly folders present in the /backup folder.
My daily backups aren't being retained locally and all backups (daily, weekly, and monthly) are going to my validated remote destination.
Hi! Can you check the backup and transport logs to see if there were any failures or errors for the backups that were not pruned from your local /backup directory? Since pruning occurs at the end of a backup run, failures within the backup may prevent it from being pruned. The following article contains the location for the backup and transport logs:

There's no log in the backup folder. I check the error_log but nothing in there. What folder is the backup and transport log in?
